Graphics In detail
These are some of the pictures i have made using Blender, when i decided to explore 3D image modelling. Click on any of the images to see an high resolution version.
This (kind of abstract) scene represents the chess games played with a friend of mine, late at night: the chessboard on a glass table, lightened by a candle, with my smartphone and a cup of tea with the Rolling Stones logo. There's a slight environmental light, plus the candle and, in two of the pictures, another one far from the scene. Lights effects (shadows, reflections and refraction) are obtained using ray tracing.
A Chinese pirate ship, which is completely derived from basic curves (Bézier and NURBS) using techniques of spinning, skinning and extrusion.
